Unfortunately the series only ran on TV for 2 seasons. Fortunately a comic was published with good drawings and colouring. The story is interesting and a good addition to the series, filling in some gaps and explaining a bit more (e.g. how it came that in the TV series epitaph, suddenly Alpha was to be trusted). Although I'm still not fully sure about the continuity of the story. See for yourself!

Excellent appendix to the series. Truth to tell, the arc played out in these pages is not really essential, but it captures a lot of the bleak wit and energy of the two season-finale episodes. Which is probably not surprising, given some of the writing talent working here.

That post-"Hollow Men" setting comes with in-built limitations - after the tech apocalypse, there's less room for character development and nuance than in the show's present-day segments, and the lack of series leads for most of the the comic's run possibly lessens its emotional impact slightly.

But for anyone who loves the story that Dollhouse told, it's a valuable bonus. Definitely worth a read.
