It is an unusual beast: neither a single nor an album, and not really a normal EP either. It is basically a 'best of' with tracks taken from just one album.

I like "Jai Ho!" a lot, and so does the special someone who received it as a gift. I also like the sound of "I hate this part", although after listening to the lyrics it means something different from what I first thought ...and as a man that make it slightly less appealing.
"When I grow up" has a strong beat, but is otherwise fairly simple. "Hush hush; hush hush" is a more upbeat sound, but again the lyrics are not so appealing for me to get in to.
"Whatcha think about that" was not anything in Australia, and doesn't do much for me on the CD either.

Overall you get the best album tracks for a cheaper price: don't miss your lesser favourites by buying just one single, and don't have to skip the filler by buying the album. And also better than buying several singles -- unless you're a diehard fan.

Even though you may only be getting a few songs it's a very good pick from a fantastic album. I can listen to this on a loop and never bore of it. I would recommend this collection to anyone who is a PCD fan & even those who haven't heard of them should give this a go as who knows you may find out you like them.

I'll be honest I have both albums of thiers and so really wanted Jai Ho too. The only problem is that I had to buy the mini collection to get it. 4 out of 6 songs are on the second album so if you're a real fan like me you will be duplicating. However it is a good mini collection to listen to and the other track "Painted Windows" is just as good as the other tracks.
