Melvyn Grant is best known for his fantasy artwork ( Iron Maiden, Terry Pratchett etc) so was interested to sample his writng. It was a good read, especially the dark fantasy adventure, quite scary in places with believable weird characters. Pesky and the seagull in baggy pants are a formidable duo together with an odd assortment of chums tackling some pretty horrid evil stuff. Funny as well. Would recommend.

A bunch of incredible characters, some to love, some to hate but none to ignore. I was transfixed by the goings on in the dreamtime. A seagull in shorts! What's not to enjoy? And as for Pesky, I can't imagine what he'll get up to next.

Enjoyable adventure with lively and well drawn characters. Some slightly grusome bits to apeal to those who like a little horror in the mix, but not too much. A good read.
