My baby just doesn't like having a beaker in her mouth, the health visitor suggested the doidy cup. Using this cup is a lot better she may even take to this before a beaker. She is learning to sip and not suck so that's a good thing! As she can see the contents she knows she is having milk therefore I believe more willing to take the cup in her mouth. I would recommend this but I didn't start using the cup until about 8 months. Only reason this didn't get 5 stars is i think the handles could be a better design.

Thought i'd try this cup on the off chance because my little one would not take water from a bottle or a sippy cup, we got it when she was 5 months old and she loves it. At the moment I have to hold it for her, but she is putting her hands towards the handles, it won't be long before she is doing it all by herself. I only put a small amount of water in the cup at a time to prevent any large scale accidents. Very pleased with my purchase.
