I initially reviewed this product after a few days use and a marked improvement in my noisy little terriers behavior. After 3 weeks, I am sufficiently impressed to add to my earlier review. It has simply done the job perfectly. My "Rosie" is now perfectly quiet when the door bell rings, does not go berserk when people walk their dogs past the house, and, above all, she is also almost totally quiet when in our car with our labrador, so now we can enjoy walks in the country again. This, the first time for the four years we have had her. For those who are concerned about the "shock" feature, Rosie quickly learned her lesson, and has only activated it twice since we have used it, she always stops after one bark and hears the warning signal. As I said on my earlier review, she loves having it on because she knows she will be rewarded with a biscuit treat when it's put around her neck.

What to say about this collar is difficult...
On other collars ive seen there is a switch to turn off the vibrations so the dog just hears the sound but this collar does not.... the collar works- however i would have favoured to have this switch, the collar looks a bit uncomfortable to wear but if it works it can be worth it....
the first time the collar was set off when he barked my dog ,max, screeched in shock and pain.so this is a cruel method. Not only did he shreek but actually poo'd on the floor while the shocks were happening. Therefore i recommend u not to buy this product and to buy a smaller, dantia looking one that is more comfortable and may have a switch to turn off the shocks...
You dont have to listen to my review... it is just a personal response however the pain, and unfairness ur putting ur dog through is not great, so im not saying dont get a bark collar... im saying dont get this bark collar...

bought this a while ago,from the moment it was put around our dogs neck--peace and quiet,it doesnt even have the battery in it,having said that it does require one once in a while. just by saying "collar" the dog nine times out of ten stops barking,the only complaint my wife has is he becomes very clingy and follows her around.i bought this by reading one of these reviews and to be honest i didnt beleive it 100% but it does work.the wife recently bought a different alarm but it doesnt do anything so today i bought a new battery and after putting it in the collar silence was resumed,beleive me this really does work.

This should be banned
I bought this product because my dog was driving our neighbours mad with his barking when we left the house. I beg anybody who loves their dogs do not use this collar. Read more

Fantastic

wouldn't buy
Having two dog's we found collar not only responded to one dog, but other dog also, and also as we were talking it was setting off the collar, wouldn't recommend it at all.
