Protects your pet from an accident or running out of the car NO IT DIDN'T BOTH DOGS RAN STRAIGHT OUT IN FRONT OF A CAR WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR EXPECTING THEM TO BE STILL SECURED IN THE BACK.
Fortunatley the driver of the car managed to avoid them and they came back to me after a short time, due to them being huskies and doing as they please when off the lead.
CANNOT recommend the product as it looked sturdy enough but when in use obviously did not do the job, ok maybe i was just unfortunate to get a faulty one, OH wait no both of them snapped.

The dog seat restraint is very cheap and absolutely rubbish and I'm sure that the clip that goes into the seatbelt holder could have been of better material, any thinner and it would be Heinz Bean Tin, made in China to order - RUBBISH

I placed it in back seat ,used it twice all okay ,Then opened the door the other day and she was excited ,the next thing happen it snap and she did a runner.She is a 15 month lab .Lucky she is well trained and came back,but this belt is not strong to restrain a large dog,

Very essential
It is a must have accesory if you want your dog to travel safely.
