Format: Paperback
Having purchased numerous dog breed books in an attempt to choose the most suitable breed for myself, I can honestly say this was the best by far. The layout was superb - with the basics eg. size, weight, temperament available to you at a glance.
Obviously I wouldn't suggest buying a dog based solely on the contents of this book, but it's great if you just want to get a general idea of the type of dog that might suit you, without having to work your way through hundreds of pages of webpages to learn about each breed. Highly recommended.

Well illustrated and user friendly as a quick identification tool. The colour swatches for each breed are useful and the little bits of background or unusual information provided on each breed make the book interesting and in some cases serve to incentivise further indepth research.
