Bought this book believing it would enhance my understanding of dog behaviour/posture. Turns out to be aimed at 5 year olds! I assume it was written by a "romantic dog lover" and not someone who trully wishes to understand or communicate with their dog. Childish captions along with photos that would do better in one of those crummy and naff wall calanders on sale at Christmas or a tacky office e-mail attachment. Would suit a child who loves dogs and ponies! Stay well clear of if serious about understanding your dog. Very disappointed. Save your money to buy your dog something that will please it more (a sirloin steak!)

Totally patronising and useless to all but the simplest of adults but probably a great introduction to dogs for children.
