These cards did help me in studying for my RCVS and HNC exams at college, they keep it simple and imiges do help! I do think you could get better ones if you have more money to spend than I did.

1.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect terminology 4 Jun 2011
By Kel
These cards have been created by a human anatomist and therefore do not have correct veterinary anatomy terminology. An example of this is the use of posterior and anterior instead of cranial and caudal. This would not be so bad if it was the only mistake, however when it come to the Gluteus muscles (named maxius and minius instead of superior, middle and deep)and the crucial ligments are also incorrectly named. I stopped using them in fear of failing my exams due to incorrect terminology and therefore stop looking for examples of more errors.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good resource 10 Mar 2014

Excellent cards with excellent content. The cards are really cheap thin card that will not survive being used by students in class. A shame

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value 10 May 2013

The previous reviewers say it all really. This is a good value set of cards that contain some incorrect terms so you'll need to spend a few moments cross-referencing with your anatomy books, but still £20 cheaper than it's nearest rival

3.0 out of 5 stars Dog Anatomy Flash Cards 17 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase
Good for revision. The cards have are doubled-sided with the same picture, but only one side has the answers, so they are great for single or buddy revision. Be warned that the muscle names are taken from human anatomy, meaning that some of the names are not the Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria preferred names, so don't use the cards to learn from scratch. Nothing that a few minutes with a black Biro wouldn't fix.
