4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining episode in saga 17 May 2013
Format:Paperback
This is the 3rd book in series, bought as my two boys (3 & 7 yrs old) both enjoyed the first two. Story kept both amused, and bears up to frequent repeats, so well worth buying for little monkeys who want to be read to, or to read themselves

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, humorous book! 15 Mar 2012
By KB - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I read this book to my second grade class originally trying to spark a little interest in the series from some of the reluctant readers in my class. I ended up reading all three of the books. The class LOVED them! The laughed at every funny duck situation, and the look really lends itself to voices, which made it fun for me to read aloud. All around wonderful!

My son loves this book, even though it is pretty long for a 3 year old. It also is nice because it teaches him about places he has never been and maybe will make him curious to travel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining a 5-y-o, a 10-y-o, and a 43-y-o :) 13 Oct 2013
By Moira - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a fun book for the children to hear and a rollicking book for the adult to read aloud. The photos complement the story perfectly. My reluctant reader reread all five in the series in *one day*. Do not discount how endearing these characters are simply because of the relatively small number of reviews.
5.0 out of 5 stars Son has the entire series and he loves the books ... 3 July 2014
By June An - Published on Amazon.com

Son has the entire series and he loves the books. The different places, cultures and customs detailed in each one expose him to the world outside that awaits. Can't wait to see where Dodsworth will end up traveling to next.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good to hook kids in the knowledge of other city 18 Mar 2014

Easy to read, places are real, a lot to talk with your kids or grandchildren if they have not been there yet or remember if they did. Funny story, too.
