My 5 year old son borrowed this book from school, he enjoyed it so much that he was walking round the house holding it and taking it to bed with him. He was so upset at the thought of returning it to school, that I had to buy him his own copy. The story is told in a lovely giggly rhyme and the pictures are sure to capture any child's imagination. If your little one has a cheeky sense of adventure then this is a story they (and you) will enjoy!

I was really disappointed with the ending of this book !! I don't think the authors have much to do with children or they would understand that you can have a sad beginning or middle but never a sad ending ! my granddaughter would be really upset to think of the crying dodo having it's only egg smashed "the end"

Not a nice story especially if you have a sensitive / caring child. Basically last DODO egg gets smashed, DODO leaves with "tears in her eyes" THE END. Thought it would be funny but am not even going to give it to my 4 year old as I think she would find it quite upsetting. Disappointed!!
