I bought these for my wife as she was advised by our doctor that she possibly had a lack of vitamin D in her body. Not having the option of sitting out in natural sunlight due to our weather and her work etc, these were a good option. Only time will tell if they've done the required job. Delivery however, was very quick, as is so often the case with anything purchased through Amazon.
UPDATE
After taking these for about 3 months my wife had another blood test which amazed her doctor at how high her vitamin D3 reading had become. Her aches and pains have reduced noticeably, and she is now taking one capsule every other day. Happy days so far.

Another bottle of these have been purchased for my wife in order to keep the good results going.

I bought these when coming to the end of a course of treatment for vitamin d deficiency which had lead to weakness in my bones. I don't get much natural sunshine, nor do I eat oily fish: most foods are very low in vitamin d, sunshine being the main source, but I spend most of my time in artificial light.
I wanted to continue the "alive" feeling I'd developed after medical treatment with enormous doses of the vitamin. I can say that taking these has certainly maintained my vitamin d levels. I'm having more blood tests done soon, I think my consultant may be surprised by how healthy I am.
