Ok. The categories that Amazon provide differ as to how they are played with. I bought these figures to give my kids (12 and 9) a chance to make up their own board game using well produced, nice detailed and fun pieces. These fit the bill nicely. They both made the board with various hazards and decided how the characters (we had a good selection of heroes and villains) would interact. I bought the figures, added some dice, paper and pens and they had several hours of working out rules, drawing maps and playing the games. We had a lot of fun with them. I have no idea how they would work out if used in the proscribed manner.
