Replica of the Time Lord psychic container used to send a message to the Doctor in The Doctors Wife. Fans of the Classic era will also have seen one of these in the Second Doctor story The War Games, although it looked slightly different back then.Colour change mode will see the cube slowly change from one colour to the next. As soon as I saw this on the episode of Doctor Who The Doctor's Wife, I hoped that like many other items in Doctor Who that they would recreate it for the general public.
First off like most of Character Options products, I did feel that the cost was abit more pricey than it could of been, but overall it I do think that its worth it. The cube itself feels and looks durable with the logo/mark on the front put to a high quality not just poorly painted or a film transfer, which adds to the feel of the product. The switch is hidden on the bottom, but easily accessed by a cover.
There are two main light mode white or colour, however in white mode you can have it as a plain white light or you can tap or shake it and it turns off. Shake and tap it again and the white light flickers just like it does in the episode. In Colour mode it will cycle through the different colours or you can tap/ shake it to skip to the next colour. Which is great for mood lighting. On both settings if you leave the light on after a while it will turn off by itself.
If a fan of Doctor Who, or in to mood light this is a great item to have young to old.

Buying a present for a baby shower is always hard, how many babygrows, cuddly toys, feeding sets do they usually get? What if you get the wrong colour, pattern, make? This solved the problem, especially for a geek like me, start them early as Dr Who fans as this makes an excellent light for the nursery!

I hate to break it to you, but in this iteration of the Universe, having only a sonic screwdriver just doesn't cut it anymore. This is a must buy for any fan of Doctor Who.
The container is durable, changes colors and is bright. It looks amazing when you let it glow with the lights off. Buy one for yourself and several for your friends.
