4.0 out of 5 stars Short but worthwhile 1 May 2009
While this book doesn't hold your attention for very long - a few hours is the most an adult reader would need to read cover to cover - it's still entertaining with a lot of story packed in. The story itself covers 110 pages in fairly large type, with some Activity and 'TARDIS data bank' pages interspersed.

The puzzles are very childish and take only a few seconds to figure out - but it's still satisfying when the Doctor announces his answer and it corresponds with your own!

The TARDIS data bank pages again are aimed at children so don't go into any depth about the subjects they cover (the planet Mordane and Places of Burial are the two double page TDB's in this installment) but are interesting nontheless.

The kids'll definitely love it - especially with the added online content - but it's certainly not a waste of money for the older fans and nicely fills a rainy day.
