This is a large book, it really shows off the glory of the Dave Gibbons artwork. The recolouring job is very nice too and really updates and compliments the superb reproduction of the art. All in all, i rate this book as being essential for the artwork alone. Without the artwork, this material wouldnt be very well regarded, the stories, while fun, generally appear to have been written 'on the side' by the writers, which is understandable, being that they were originally appearing in licensed Doctor Who comics so were commercially driven(John Wagner's are the best IMO). However, the superb artwork carries the pretty mediocre (speaking as a non-particular fan of Doctor Who) stories to another level, and the format of the book is just to die for. Note - Book does not come shrink wrapped and mine had some light scratches to the cover upon delivery.
