I bought this product for a friend, unfortunately ignoring warnings from other reviewers. Shortly after using the product, my friend told me that it developed a leak and the innards oozed out. Useless. I have contacted amazon to arrange a replacement, but really this product will not be able to be used for its intended purpose as a stress toy, just as an ornament. So my advice is don't buy one!! Clearly as other people have found, the toy is useless.

When it arrived the two seals under the feet were not intacted and the viscose liquid was leaking out. We had one very disappointed boy in our house!
The light grey coloured material it was made of picked up all marks and looked so dirty after 5 minutes of being out of the box. I wouldn't recommend it

Mt daughter was thrilled with this birthday gift and at 12yrs she wasn't excessively rough with it but within hours a leak appeared on the foot and all the gross contents leaked out. Looks great, just don't touch it! Can't recommend.

This toy is sticky, gets dirty too easily, collects dust and the first one I recieved had a hole in it. It was promptly replaced but, compared to normal stress toys, this one feels terrible.

I bought one of these over a year ago and it was a great stress toy with squishy yet firm material inside. I gave it to my sister after she fell in love with it and bought another one but my son thought would be a good idea to cut that open with scissors.

I was bought another one for Christmas but they must have changed manufacturers because it's completely different to the other two - the other two felt like hard stress toys and this one is ridiculously soft and doesn't feel like a stress toy. It also has a horrible sticky surface whilst the previous two didn't and there appears to be air between the outer membrane and the squidgy stuff inside. What a terrible let down!

I emailed Wow Stuff to ask them about this but despite claiming to answer all queries within 48 hours I've just been ignored. Poor show...

My son loves Dr Who so we were excited to see the Adipose toy added to the collection. Unfortunately the stress toy we received leaked, the company were very good and sent a replacement out directly. But that toy leaked too ~ so I've sent them both back and am awaiting a refund.

I loved these characters in the series, and when I was looking to get a stress toy for my wife, this jumped out at me. And indeed when it turned up it was very cute and just like the show versions.

However the down sides quickly became apparent: when squeezed, you realise the insides are very light, and the parts not being squeezed puff out like a balloon. There was at least one air pocket inside, and the material that forms the skin is very thin. It really didn't feel like it was safe to squish it too hard, unlike other stress toys I've had that can take some real punishment. As is typical for rubbery products, the skin gets dirty extremely quickly, and everything sticks to it. Easily cleaned, but not nice for something being handled a lot. Also it didn't actually stand upright on its feet, which was also a bit annoying as it tended to fall backwards and roll off the desk onto the floor.

Anyway, after a month (and a stressful day for my wife), it exploded on her. Ironically making the stressful day worse!
