This review is from: Doctor Who 5" Action Figure - The Doctor in Suit (Toy)
A VERY GOOD figure of the doctor in his suit, and it stands on it's own with no problems(for me anyway). The figure really looks like the actor too,VERY MUCH :)))The only sad thing, there's no Sonic Screwdriver with this figure; Not with my figure :(((
There's always been a screwdriver with the other figures of the doctor, why not with this one???

Great... but some unusual self-support issues..., 10 Jan 2007
This review is from: Doctor Who 5" Action Figure - The Doctor in Suit (Toy)
This is a really good figure that's well detailed, from the Doctor's shirt and tie to his suit with all the little buttons and pockets and even his Converses. It's a pretty good likeness of Tennant as well. The sonic screwdriver that comes with it is also nicely detailed, though it wouldn't have hurt to include something else (glasses or psychic paper springs to mind) and it's a shame he doesn't come with what I feel is his trademark long brown overcoat.
The main complaint I have is that the box boasts an horrendous number of articulated joints, yet what this actually leaves you with is a figure that can bend into all sorts of surreal poses. I had to spend a couple of minutes once I'd got it out of the box straightening all its limbs out, because though they LOOKED like they were right with the suit on, they were rotated all over the place.
As a result the legs especially have a tendency to flop and collapse, making it difficult to stand the figure up.
Otherwise though, very good; not perfect, but very good.
