A good synopsis of the return of MotoGP to America in 2005 after an absence of more than ten years. Interesting behind-the scenes footage about Laguna Seca and the riders, but far too much of Hopkins and nothing from Rossi except what is already in the Public domain. Obviously he didn't cooperate with the film's makers this time around (odd because they are relentlessly flattering about his talent), and didn't give any private access. There are some other noticeable omissions too, such as the way the track started to break-up over the weekend, the very negative comments about track safety from some of the riders, and the terrible traffic access for spectators.
Some bad language, and no option to bleep it out for the benefit of young ears. The second disc has most of the race from multiple synchronised on-board sources, which is fun.
Ewan MacGregor's narration is first-class as always, and justifies the purchase in its own right. If you don't already have its predecessor, Faster, suggest you get that first. If you were there, as we were, this is an essential memento.
