Have read several of Cheryl Wyatts books and the stories are always good. The books do not disappoint and several of the books are related to characters in each of the books

A doctor, a daughter, and the girl next door... 18 Dec. 2012
By Dianna Shuford - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Definitely my new favorite Cheryl Wyatt book! Once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down.

Dr. Ian is the right mix of strength and tenderness. Bri is the perfect girl next door who falls for Ian's daughter as Ian falls for Bri. Truly a story that will make you sigh. You don't want to miss Ian's and Bri's story!!

Another great book! 16 Dec. 2012
By Erin - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I have been a fan of Cheryl's books since her series, Wings of Refuge. Doctor to the Rescue is the second book in her newest series and a great read. It's fast paced, with well done character development.

Dr. Ian Shupe is a complicated man, who comes off as gruff. But he truly has a heart of gold, especially when it comes to his daughter, Tia. He's a combat veteran, who's trying to balance his job as an anesthesiologist at a small urgent care center and being a single dad.

Bri Landis is trying to renovate the family lodge before she loses it to the bank. She has a ladder mishap that sends her to Ian's trauma center next door. Her broken arm brings Ian and Tia into her life and turn it upside down.

Both Ian and Bri have been hurt but God brings them together to help them heal.

A little clunky 11 Feb. 2013
By chemtchr - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
This book was really hard for me to get into... I think that the writing style did not flow smoothly for me. Thoughts and dialogue were disjointed, which made it difficult to get to know the characters. I really wanted to like it, but never connected with the story or characters. It felt forced.

Happy holidays for Ian,Bri and Tia 22 Dec. 2012
By Cheryl Robertson - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Cheryl Wyatt knows how to write a story about so many fields-military,medical,familie,holidays,faith,and love. This is the reason I have read all of her Wings of Refuge books ,and now the 2 so far in her Eagle point Emergency series, and placed them in a special Cheryl Wyatt shelf in one of my bookcases.

Bri Landis is trying to fix up and save the Landis Lodge left to her and her brother Caleb by their mother, but her progress is slowed by an accident and then a fire. But true to the caring and sharing nature of so many of the people in Eagle Point,IL.,they pitch in to help and also call in reenforcements to make it all come together.

Ian Shupe is her brother's friend and anesthesiologist at Eagle Point Emergency Center who now comes back into her life . But this time he is trying to get over a divorce and raise his 5-year-old daughter.

This is such a well-written book bringing in elements of past hurts, present disappointments, many emotions, some surprising events, and a happy ending full of promise that gives you a warm feeling making it a good read for the holidays or to give you that extra lift in life.

Excellent book,Cheryl Wyatt, and now to wait for your next book.

Building a Community and Romance at the same time 1 Jan. 2013
By Sis Steele - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Community romances are a challenging thing for authors to write. You must build a community as well as a romance about the hero and heroine. Community romances are full of details about the locale and the people who reside in the town but the story still must revolve around the two main characters.

Cheryl Wyatt does a stellar job of continuing her new series, both in the main story and the community building aspect. The reader sees familiar characters and discovers new aspects of Eagle Point. While a stand alone, Doctor to the Rescue is a great addition to the Eagle Point Emergency series, full of drama, pathos, and love.

Can't wait until the next one comes out.
