This is a gorgeous book for reading out loud and exploring together! A simple, funny story and friendly characters. The words are great, I know my three year old will be joining in and laughing along in no time! I love the illustrations - Monkey and Robot are full of expression and there is loads to spot and smile at as you look at what's going on the background!
The cardboard figures which you can press out and play with are a really lovely touch. My children are going to be asking for this book and over and over again!
One to buy for your own kids and definitely a great gift - I know lots of boys and girls who will love it!

My 5 year old loves this book. The illustrations are fantastic and the stories always make us giggle. Can't wait for the next one!

This is the first Monkey and Robot book in a series of four. Monkey and Robot are lovely cheeky characters. My toddler (nearly 3) loves them - and this book immediately became a favourite.
Unlike some other of my daughter's favourite books, I have enjoyed reading this again and again. The text is simple but genuinely funny and the illustrations are gorgeous (including real fabric patterns - see the red check blanket on the front cover). I imagine Monkey has an Adrian Edmonson accent!
