5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 16 Jan 2004
By A Customer
What a fascinating read. But what else can you expect from Mark Bowden these days. This book is in the same category as 'Killing Pablo'. An excellent insight into the drug dealings of a very unsuspecting intelligent bright 'All American Boy'. It shows how the greed for power and money can truely change someone and what goes up (so to speak) must come down, and boy, without getting into too much detail, does he come crashing down. A must read in my opinion. Enjoy

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!, 6 Mar 2004
By L Thompson (Grantham, Lincolnshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Having never really read many books outside of my secondary schools core curriculum reading list i found that Bowden has opened my eyes to a whole new world of enjoyment! I suppose it's the way he writes his books, in such detail, exactly how I have now realised I like them!!! The only disappointing thing is I've read all the books he's written, this one as well as "Killing Pablo" have stuck right out! They are superbly written and explained to an extroadinary standard.
I'm absolutely gutted now as i'll have to find someone else who writes about the topics i'm interested in, in such detail, I live in hope of another Bowden book being published soon!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book, 4 Oct 2008
By temuijin (Ireland) - See all my reviews
Read this book on a holiday and as usual mark bowden doesn't disappoint. Not as well known as his other books such as killing pablo but as good if not better in my opinion, book binding actually came apart on me on beach so i was left chasing pages up and down a crete beach!
