5.0 out of 5 stars Creepy /Cool, 27 Nov 2000
By John C. Martine "Book Junky" - Published on Amazon.com
Very creepy French art flick about a WWII serial killer who tells people he can get them out of occupied France and murders them in a basement room. Petiot is well played in heavy silent movie era make-up and flowing cape which add a vampiric menace to him as do the rats.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the top French gem movies of this year!, 18 Nov 2005
By Hiram Gomez Pardo - Published on Amazon.com
This horrid story bases on an sorrowful real fact narrates us the monstrous French doctor who murdered the desperate Jews he was paid for protect to new horizons as Argentina promised.

Christian de Challonge is a very clever director who likes to bet with incisive scripts. He is a magnificent and very effective director who should be better known. And what can we add to qualify the presence of this giant actor : Michael Serrault a true living legend who so many satisfactions has offered us around all the possible genres.

A picture that deserves much more divulgated and because some motive was not able to engage in its moment.
