Does the job perfectly and seems robust. The Kindle locates firmly in the cradle and the whole thing is very stable on the desk but doesn't take up too much space. Having the additional "Power Only" USB socket is very useful too.

Does exactly what you'd expect but with room for improvement.
Takes a little bit of effort to align it properly when connecting the Kindle, but once attached, it sits securely. Looks a lot better than lying the Kindle on a work top with trailing cable.
Although there is a pretty backlight when the power is on, this is hidden when the Kindle is connected. I initially expected this to act as a charge indicator but that is not the case. In fact, there is NO charge indicator even with the Kindle switched on. With the Kindle switched on, it seems to take forever to recharge; switched off, it can be done in a day. Consequently, recharging is either done overnight or on a day when the unit is not going to be read.
In short, the docking cradle does what is required but there is probably a better version out there somewhere.
