Freddie Jackson makes late night music for adults to chill out too, and this his 4th album is no different and sees him in good form again, with 5 tracks co-penned by Barry Eastwood.
The album opens up with a track which grabs your attention straight away Don't it Feel Good, then into a Freddie special, a romantic slowie with a sax break in the background from Najee great stuff. Track 3 written by Paul Laurence and sounds a bit like Gregory Abbott's Shake you down, I'm glad to say this track is better. Track 4 a dancer then back into the romantic groove.
There are no real killers or fillers on this album just good songs sung well and no need for the remote control just switch it on and settle back with a bottle of wine and some good company.
Everybody wants to own the latest Neo Soul hero CD, these guys are just following the path laid down by the likes of Freddie Jackson and there has never been a better time to catch up some of the old hero's material as it can all be obtained cheaply at Amazon. Freddie's latest CD Its Your Move is also good.
