Nothing has made me happier than this repeated return to form from one of my old favourites! Here's hoping they keep up the great standards set forth by R U Mine? and this phenomenal song!

I must admit, I was very surprised to hear that a new single had beeb released by the Arctic Monkeys. And it's good. It's not as catchy as their early albums, but that sound's been gone for a while. Instead it's an extension of the sound we heard from the single 'R U Mine', which is possibly my favourite Arctic Monkeys track to date.
This track begins ever so simply with simple drum beat, which is followed by a bluesy guitar riff. The whole track is kept simple, but it sure is effective, and makes for a great listen. I remember thinking after the first album which direction the band would take, and I quite like the more bluesy feel of this latest work.
It's a good single, and now I'm keen to hear the rest of the album (which is still currently unnamed I believe). Also, it's worth saying that if you've got a spare moment you should check out the video for this track, which I think is great.
