First of all a quick correction to the synopsis - the sisters are Mother Teresa's Sisters. The book is about a woman who went through hell. Her work in the orphanages in Romania and her subsequent adoption of Petrascu is heart rending. I happen to know that the financial and personal struggle she went through was enormous. I remember her at Stansted determined to get an electric organ to Bacau in Romania. She succeeded and gave me a lift in the bargain. Thanks for a super read.

Here is a real roller coaster of a book.It will make you laugh, cry, cringe and feel guilty. But most of all it will leave you feeling good.

It tells the story of a very ordinary woman who does something extraordinary by becoming involved with the Romanian orphanages. Everything in her comfortable life has done little to prepare her for what she will face, and the story of how she copes is both humbling and uplifting all at the same time.

She's obviously an incredible person, even more so because she doesn't realise it, and her book is the sort you can't put down. READ IT!
