5.0 out of 5 stars Buy It!, 17 Dec 2008
By J. Murphy (Britain) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book i found incredibly helpful, i am a teenager and it has things in it for both girls and boys from ages 12-16. It includes things that everybody needs to know, such as;

-Dating (how to ask people out, be asked out, breaking up etc)
-Talking (gossiping, listening)
-Communicating (writing proper letters, being on the phone, email)
-Staying away (at others houses, stayong over night, having your when guests to stay)
-Socialising (Flirting, meeting people, natural bodily functions)
-Eating (Manners, eating out)
-Parties (invitations, dress codes, biffets, hosting your own)
-Special occasions (birthdays, weddinggs, christmas, new babies, funerals)
-Going out (cinema, gigs, queing, doors, tipping)
-Work (interveiws, looking for work etc)
These are the many few sections but there are literally many more!

i found all of this very helpful and this book helps lead you into the world, it is neither too young, patronising or too obvious and helpful. There are humerous bits in itnwhch bring laughter to your lips and it isn't complicated to understand. The sections are broken up into chapters and each chapter is broken into sections. I found it easy to understand as it was not too complicated and it is neither too simple. I great and very helpful buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Do the Right Thing - a teenagers guide to life, 26 Mar 2009
By J. Lee-Kelly "amateur critic" (Herts. Uk) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Bought the book for an advanced 13 year old. I had a quick look through it (being an over 40 yr old), and it seemed to have some pretty sensible advice, put over in a fun way. If you have a teenager who is a bit younger in the head, this book is probably going to sit on the shelf, but if yr teenager is a bit more savvy, they will enjoy this read.
