Compilation taken from 3 releases. Split between more electro dancey sound and more traditional Malian sound.
Abdoulaye has a wonderful nasal voice and is backed by great musicians throughout.
Kanou Saba has great electric guitar, keyboard and brass.
Siki and Namawou are n'goni and balafon laden treats. Massassi a slow track has the keyboards of the great Jean Philippe Rykiel who has played on just about every Malian CD ever.
The backing singers are the typical float in the air for days kind and the lead guitar of Saffre Coulibaly weaves around nicely.
If you fancy a more rootsy sound try Bende.
