4.0 out of 5 stars Is it 4 or is it 5 stars? 23 Jan 2008
Format:Audio CD
This is Dizzy towards the end of his amazing life. I had this on a audio cassette tape (off the radio.....) and was amazed to find that this 1986 concert had been published on CD. It is currently out of print (shame!) so you will have to hunt this little gem down on the second had market like I did. It is worth the effort. I saw the great man in Bristol in '89 and it was definitely the best ever jazz concert I have seen. Perhaps that is why I love this album so much, it relives the memory of one of Jazz's true greats.

Why only 4 stars? Well the 5 star Dizzy is the material from the 40s.
