My first impressions are good with this book, like all of Sword & Sorcery's Hardbacks, it is in a Core Rulebook style, the page borders are black, grey and white in the Scarred Lands format, and the layout is good, with good black and white artwork throughout.
The first chapter is an 11 page treatise of the history between the Gods and Titans of the Scarred Lands Setting by Swords And Sorcert, whom this book is devoted to.
Chapter two gives information on the Gods of the Scarred Lands setting, detailing bothe the gods themselves, their mortal followers, their Pages (mortal Representives of the gods), Heralds and Avaters, not to mention artifacts devoted to each God.
Chapter three details the Demi-Gods, much the same way as chapter two.
Chapter four is my favourite, Divine Gifts, new domains and new Divine Spells and Rituals (for information on Rituals you will need S&S brillant Relics & Rituals Corebook).
Chapter five details The Earth Mother, a Titan who sided with the Gods in the War between the two groups which is the whole core of the Scarred Lands setting, not someone to be crossed by Players.
Chapter six details the Defeated, the Titans who lost the war against the Gods, it give details on their history, their fate, and their followers.
Chapter seven details Artifacts, Spells and other items made or influanced by the Titans, which are very useful.
A nice touch with this book is a Scarred Lands Character Sheet at the back, most usefull.
Overall a well written book ,which with a little tweaking any part of can easily be adopted to other settings, especially the Spells and Artifacts.
