This moment celebrating the birthday of one America's treasures, Marilyn Horne, allows even the casual listener an opportunity to appreciate some of the finest voices of our time all gathered in the equivalent of a class voice recital singing from a whole range of styles and ending in a very fun rendition of 'Happy Birthday.' Something for everyone!

Any fan of opera--as well as some of its greatest singers--will enjoy this. Just look at the songs and the singers, who range from a young Renee Fleming to mature Horne and Caballe. Just one problem: Why no video of this event? Surely some person had the foresight to film it!
