Infused with nourishing argan oil and designed to add shine and protect your hair, the waver also acts as a chunky wand, perfect for creating bigger, bouncier and more natural looking curls
The waver locks around the hair creating an even, volumised beach look that holds beautifully. It’s a look that is perfect for any occasion.
Directions
- Apply a heat protection serum to towel-dried hair and rough dry your hair first by blasting it with a hair dryer.
- Switch on the Diva Beach Waves hair styler and let it heat up to 200°C.
- You want the best possible surface to begin your waving with so take the time to comb it well out.
- Divide the hair into more manageable sections but make sure nothing is tangled. Select a hair section and place it in between the styler.
- You can either start applying waves close to the root for a volumise look or further down for more beachy and glamourous style.
- Each time clamp the waver down for a few seconds and then release it.
- Work your way down, while moving down aligning the waver with the previously waved hair to get an equal and even wave from root to tip.
- Only wave a small piece of hair at a time so that the heat can properly get to each strand to wave. Wave whole head or just sections and allow to cool before applying hairspray and style.

Do you have fine hair, that won't hold a style longer than half an hour before it drops out? If so, this is WONDERFUL as the waves last for 2-3 days (a shocker for us with fine hair!).
1. It comes with black rubber coating, which is delicious and silky to the touch, safe & cool to use - and no heat mat is needed!!
2. It has a long lead which is also rubberised - it's good quality.
3. It takes about 30 seconds to heat up. Now, it has a red light to show it's on... but the light doesn't go out when it's at temperature.
4. It's designed for travel so is minimal and compact - but I use it for everyday use.
5. If you have short or medium length hair, this is the only waver on the market for us (as you can get 2 or 3 waves even on shorter hair. I've tried 3 barrel wavers and the barrels are all too large for layers).
6. As for styling, the current 1940's retro look is easy to do. Let the wave cool naturally and you'll be Dita von Teese.
7. Separate out the crimps and you'll get the beach look.
8. Mess it up whilst still hot... then you'll get crazy catwalk styles.
9. All in 5 mins. (Yes, 5 mins to do medium length hair). Never seen anything work so fast.
10. Even fine hair will look amazing - with masses of volume that heated tongs can't compete against - and I have a drawful of tongs that don't work.
11. The smaller size makes it a doodle to use - especially as I'm rubbish at hair.
12. The other more expensive makes are tacky plastic... and not a robust build. Diva are aiming for the specialised professional hair tool market - and they've put money into the manufacture... well done!! I'm so impressed - and will be investing in more Diva products!

What a surprise - I had previously bought the Wave Envy which is very good if you have long hair but rubbish on medium length or short hair. This item is small and therefore suitable for shorter hair. So easy to use even on the back of my hair and the result after 5-10 minutes work is fantastic. I have never had such variety in my hair. I have bought loads of hair products recently and without question this is the one I couldnt do without now. You will not be disappointed with this product in fact having tried it, I would spend a fair amount more to get this if mine broke. Brilliant.

Excellent product for medium length thinner hair
1. Heats up fast although be careful not to burn yourself and handle it in the correct areas
2. Small and light enough to carry about if needed
3. Depending on how it's used I found there are 2 waves it creates - close together gives a slightly crimped look and less close waves give the tousled effect,I like both and had many positive comments.
4. Easy to use and quick to create the effects desired
5.Good price would buy again
6.Good cable length
Footnote- I also bought the normal size in this range which I found better suited thicker longer hair and it was heavy to hold,hence this purchase which is just perfect.

Great Product. I have a short bob and my hair is very fine, It gave me volume and waves insistently :) It stayed wavey all night and till the next morning.
I've used it close to the root to create a massive full head of waves, then used it on the ends to create a beachy look.
It heats up quick and is a great little product.

Having looked at other reviews, I decided that as my hair is fine, I would go for the mini beach wave tong.
It arrived on schedule and I absolutely love it. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and simple to store. I must admit I do not style from the bottom as recommended, but from the top and this suits me.
I have highly recommended this to others, and I think I have received more compliments about my hair after using this, than I ever have before.
I do find that if I do it on the first day, the next morning it does need re-doing to a degree, but then it lasts for a couple of days.
Just one small pointer, for those of you who are new to these types of products, do not underestimate how hot it gets, I managed to burn myself a few times before I got the hang of it.

This product gives just the right sized waves for my length of hair (just above the shoulder), they last really well too. Adding a bit of hair shine wax makes the style look even better in my opinion. My sister has ordered one of these after seeing the results on me.

Not for me

definitely more a crimper than waver

Easy to use but more of a large crimp
Very easy to use and heat up quickly but I definitely think these create more of a crimp than a wave. I will continue on with my search for the perfect waver !
