I bought this for my daughter and, to be honest, I was a little disappointed. The game description reads "learn and perform real ballet moves that will amaze your friends". Your avatar dances nicely enough but, unlike games like "Just Dance" you are not required to dance along. My son scored nearly faultlessly just waving his controller in the direction of the on screen arrows. Don't get me wrong, we weren't expecting a substitute for ballet classes, but it would have been nice to have needed to interact with it a bit more.
If you want a ballet game then I suppose that's what it is. If you want something that encourages you to dance along, buy "Just Dance". Just for the record "diva Ballerina" does not require the balance board. If you don't have one you use the nun chuck in its place.
