About the Artist
It may be difficult to predict a bands future success and longevity, but there s a distinct buzz about Midlands based rock/metal outfit, TOXIC FEDERATION. Despite having an average age of just 20, the band has already been together for six years, spawning a tight live unit with a lethal combination of youthful vitality and lyrical & hard-working maturity. Toxic Federation have supported the likes of UFO, Diamond Head, Hot Leg and The Answer and have played festivals including The British Rock & Metal festival, Greenbelt and Wyeside. The band was the only non-Turkish act to appear at the recent Istanbul Rock Festival in Turkey and received a rapturous response. In fact Toxic Federation claim new fans wherever they play and sometimes those fans turn up in the most unusual places, as the band recently received an unexpected shout-out from Dominic Littlewood on the One Show!, as well as being one of Get Ready To Rock s featured artists of 2011 and enjoying support from Total Rock. With two albums already under their belts, the band is ready to blast any talk of difficult third album syndrome out of the water. This is a great album by the hard rocking boys of Toxic Federation but watch out for the quieter moments too. It can't be long before these guys hit the (really) big time. Showing a more 'mature' side than the previous album 'As One' which is also a great album. Do yourself a favor and listen to both.
