I recommend this book to anyone who is doing a BEng / MEng final year project. The information in this book kick started my project and got me off on a fantastic start. The book emphasises initial planning and takes the student through all that is required in easy to understand steps. It helped me plan my project proposal for my own project and helped me get it approved. Highly recommended for anyone apprehensive about what is expected of them from a final year project.

I bought this book thinking it would be like any other one regarding dissertations (which ususally consentrate on social sciences or process engineering). I was very wrong about this book, it is excellent and geared towards mechanical and electrical engineers and scientists. this book is well structured and details excellent examples within each chapter.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone doing a degree or a masters.
