Great Drumming 17 Mar 2002
By Mike - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Ok, so this album came out near the tailend of the real big-haired, screaming 80's bands (you know who you are), but this one has really stood the test of time. I broke the CD out after letting it sit for at least a couple of years and was reminded of how good a drummer Jason Bonham is. He turns beats inside out, drives forward with a thundering backbeat and uses very tasteful fills throughout.

Get this if you want to hear some wonderful rock drumming done with style.

Of course it has a huge Zeppelin vibe 26 May 2006

The bands name and the person who started this project is John Bonham's son, his legacy for gods sake. The music is great and it does have originality. Why would you insult that, or that he was trying to get rich and steal his father's style. He grew up with it and it is in his viens. I feel John would be proud. I love "Wait for You" and know many others who do as well. And let's not forget to give credit to the rest of the band and Daniels vocals are spot on. Good for them. So stop trying to say thety are Zeppelin rip offs, just intensely influenced. And of course they would be. Hence the name BONHAM!!!

Really good hard rock album. Holds up well in 2005. 4 Aug 2005
By Joseph M. Siegler - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is an album that I bought back when it was new in 1989 probably for the same reasons that most hard rock fans bought it back then. The legacy of the band's namesake. The drummer here is Jason Bonham, son of the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. The amusing thing is that the vocalist on this album sounds an awful lot like Robert Plant. Despite that, it doesn't sound like Zeppelin totally. Zep had this "sound" to it that Bonham doesn't. Still, it's hard to listen to this knowing who is in it and not think of the Zep heritage.

That said, the music is good on it's own - "Wait for You" was the big single at the time (and a video for this can still be seen from time to time on VH1 Classic's metal show). Holding on Forever got a lot of attention as well. If you're into Zeppelin, it's worth checking out, but it does sort of have that late 80's hard rock feel to it. That's not bad, I like that sound, but it kind of sounds like what Zeppelin might sound like if they came out new in the late 80's.

Defintely worth checking out.
