A Great Book For Planning A Vacation, 18 Feb 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Walt Disney World for Kids by Kids 1999 (Birnbaum's Travel Guides) (Paperback)
This is a book that I have liked in the past, and when I saw the 1999 edition was out with a new section on Animal Kingdom, I just had to get it. It dicusses every ride and gives them final ratings (but the section that said something like"Save for last" somehow dissapeared). Younger kids and adults will enjoy this book that will definetly help with the planning of a vacation. You shouldn't hesitate to but this for anyone, especially if they are going to enjoy Walt Disney World for the first time.

Excellent for entrancing kids with excitement..........., 18 Jan 2005

This review is from: Walt Disney World for Kids, by Kids 2005 (Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids, by Kids) (Paperback)
This book, written by kids gives descriptions of Walt Disney World through the eyes of a children. It gives very honest advice about every ride, saying if it was too fast, too dark, or too scary. I would recommend this book, if you are taking your child for the first time to Walt Disney World, it will build their excitement, let them pick the rides that they want to ride, and when you get there, you will know how to set your schedule. It will also let you know as a parent which rides are more appropriate for your children. This book, written by kids might actually give more insight to the rides, than the original Birnbaum`s, being more opiniative, instead of factual. I guarantee you will not regret purchasing this book...............

Our Kids Loved It!, 20 Mar 2002

This review is from: Walt Disney World for Kids, by Kids 2002 (Birnbaum's Travel Guides) (Paperback)
With only so much time to spend at the parks, we found the child-authors' ratings of the rides/shows helpful in creating our "short-list" of must-dos. The parks weren't crowded during our visit, so we didn't have to worry about entertaining the children while in long lines. If the lines had been longer, our children would have spent more time on the activities and trivia in the book. The autograph section let us avoid buying and carrying around an autograph book in addition to the guide book. Next time we go to WDW, I will buy the latest version of this book.
