The best thing about this book is it's amazing guide to the theme parks. It gives you an itinery to follow which guides you to each ride at it's quietest time - crowds miraculously melt at certain times on certain rides and Fodor gives you this incredible insider information. It's full of snippets of invaluable info. which guide you smoothly through your trip. I really cannot over recommend this book - it made our holiday. With so much to see and do it's vital to make the most of your time and this book does just that. Brilliant!

Although a fairly complete coverage of a rapidly evolving tourist destination, the Fodor guide - whilst doing a competent job - is really no more distinguished than many other guides of the same ilk. Categorical listing with detailed cross referencing and indexing is not as comprehensive as one needs in order to maximise time spent in the area and there is a marked lack of the exquisitely detailed information contained in Sehlinger's Unoffical Guide to Walt Disney World, for instance.
The Fodor guide is useful for a general overview, and it does present up to date information on the hotels associated with Universal Studios. However, for the traveller whose holiday will be spent within the theme park confines, other guides offer more specialist and thorough information.
Scoring system for the rides was excellent. Reviews about the hotels were very accurate and up to date.
