i was grade 3 when i bought this book and now being grade 5 i would definatly recomend this book to advance players some songs include only one flat while others can contain up to 5. songs included are like under the sea and can you feel the love tonight if you play the flute and love disney like i do then this is definatly the book for you :)

Not great for a beginner. Includes lots of flats and some of the pieces need the third octave. Cd is nice as it has backing music and backing music with prompts. Lovely tunes once you've mastered them.

My 10 year old who is about to take his Grade 3 flute exam has really enjoyed learning to play these tunes. If the child liks the tunes, there is more chance of them practising. So I would recommend this book for that reason.
