Perfect for a princess 24 Jan. 2011

Our 3 year old first saw this toy in a local superstore and didn't stop talking about it for months. Of course, by Christmas it was no longer at the store, so thank goodness for Amazon.com! Four plates, four cups, four spoons, one coffee/tea pot, and one creamer are in the larger tea pot. Nothing fancy, but we now have eiter tea, coffee, or hot chocolate parties on a regular basis. Not the most sturdy toy, but the plastic is holding up to our child's playing. There are sets featuring several of the princesses, so search around to see if your favorite is one of them.

Kids love it! 18 Dec. 2012

It's certainly nothing fancy, but our girls own two sets, one for each of them, and they use it over and over and over. The quality is "meh" but durable enough. Stickers on the individual dishes didn't last long when used in the bath! Now, they look not so nice, but the kids don't care.
A Nice Choice for Your Littlest Princess 19 Mar. 2014
By Ellie B. - Published on Amazon.com
My daughter started receiving porcelain tea sets when she was 2 years old. I knew they would not last long, so I allowed her some amount of supervised play with them. The first tea set would get used, and then returned to the storage box, at which point the storage box would be shaken and the next time it was opened, part of the tea set would be in pieces. This went on until all we had left was the storage box. She broke part of the second tea set before it even came out of the box, so that one stayed in the box. The third tea set, well, she doesn't even know about that one. It's in storage until she's a bit older.

I was happy when, for her 3rd birthday, my daughter received a plastic tea set. I knew this would be more durable than her other tea sets and I hoped that she would be just as interested in tea time play--especially since her birthday party was a Tea Party.

The Cinderella Tea Set has enough parts for 4 girls or, in our home, one girl, one mommy, and one daddy who is not afraid to set aside his coffee and have a cup of tea. All of the pieces come packaged in an extra large tea pot. I really like packages that double as a storage container.

Tea is either poured from the small teapot included in the set, or if we're really thirsty, the extra large teapot container.

My cups and plates have stickers on them. None of these stickers have been placed with any amount of care. I expected the stickers on the plates, at least, to adhere well because plates are flat, but if the sticker wasn't placed directly in the center of the plate (some weren't) they peel up at the edges. Some of the stickers on the round surfaces (cups, teapot) are wrinkled or bubbled. The sticker on the storage teapot is curling up at the edges and coming off. My daughter doesn't feel compelled to pick at or rip these stickers off, so the pieces still look pretty nice, but if she ever decides that picking at stickers is fun, this tea set will start to look well used pretty quickly.

Overall this has been a pretty fun tea set with a lasting quality that we haven't seen in other tea sets. That's something I'll drink to. Would you pass the sugar, please?
Best 1st imaginative play 14 May 2013

Tea parties are for both girls AND boys! It's a must have toy for all chuldren. This is one of the first imaginative play items for kids and is appropriate for age 12 months to 3 years+. Children need to develope their imaginations. Interactive play with adults is so important to that growth and tea parties are the best! This set is also a great tub toy not just for parties in the tub with your rubber ducky but for learning/practicing scooping, dipping, pouring, floating and sinking experiences.

When I was looking for a tea set for my 14 month out nephew this was all I could find! So I went with the blue and hoped he wouldn't hold Cinderella against me.

I love that this set comes in its own storage container. Makes clean-up easy even for the child to do. The set is made of sturdy, unbreakable, soft plastic that holds up to rough play and lots of soap and water washing as well as "tea" and bath submersions. Highly recommended.
