If your daughter loves disney princesses then this is definitely the clock for her! The light gives a nice night light glow through the night and my daughter understood straight away that it wasn't time to get out of bed until 'night time cinderella' turned into 'day time cinderella'. The 'alarm' setting isn't perfect, my daughters bedtime is 7 til 7 but you can't set the 'alarm' to the same time as the actual time so I have to creep back in adjust it. Other than that, it does the trick and she loves it.

This seemed like a great idea for my 4 year old daughter, to get her to stay in bed until 7.30am. However, the clock only works on a 12 hour basis, so if you set the wake up time for 7.30am, and she goes to bed at 7pm and switches the light on, it goes off at 7.30pm and she would get up to come and tell us!! So we ended up setting the getting up time for later, then snuck into her room later on when she was asleep to reset it. It is such a bad design, she quickly worked out how to switch the light off at the back anyway, and the light component eats batteries - duracell batteries lasted a month. And now it has gone to a charity shop. Do not be swayed by the princee, this product is BAD.

Her first real clock in her bedroom and one that helps re-enforce night and day. And a nice solid well made item.
