I bought this for my partner's 40th birthday as neither he nor I had ever had a remote controlled car and had both wanted one as a child. We also have a son who absolutely loves it. First he could only make it go forwards, now he can reverse out of trouble... not bad going for a 21 month old!! Next step is turning, but it's lasted through quite a bit of tough testing from my son and so far so good! It struggles turning on carpet from a standstill, but gets some speed up on the straights, we've had lots of laughs with this toy and is great value for money.

This is the worst quality remote control toy I have ever bought. It reverse about twice and never did it again. Utter rubbish.
