I bought this to help my three year old son stay in bed until it is time to wake up. He is a fan of the Cars movies so this was the right clock for him - he does not get out of bed until the light goes out. The only drawback is that it runs on batteries rather than on mains. It takes 4 AA batteries (one for the clock and three for the light). I would recommend this to others.

I bought this clock for my son as he is about to move out of his cot. However, I cannot use it because in order to switch on the night-time feature you have to activate a nightlight. I did not want a night light because my son sleeps better in the dark. I wish this had been better explained in the product info. In addition, the clock itself does not keep very good time. All in all the clock is disappointing and I am not using it.

I bought this clock for my 3 year old grandson but the first one had to be returned as it didn't keep the time. However Amazon very promptly replaced it and the second one works fine.
He adores 'McQueen' but sadly it has done nothing to help train him with regard to his sleeping routine!

poor design
Will only work across 11 hours. You can't put your child to bed or set at 7pm to wake or turn off at 7 am as the hands cause it to not turn on 30 mins beforehand. Read more

Cars 2 clock
Good for trying to keep children in bed, bit confusing trying to set it as you can't switch it on until less than 12 hours before you want the light to go off.
