this has got to be the worst net-book on the market today;
the keyboard is shocking, and several letters come up at once
the internet failed to connect to any wireless connections without a fight, and once it got online the browser was clunky and failed to load many pages as it should have.
i attempted to play a youtube clip through it, and the speakers are like those found in a cheep advent calender - truly awful.
the MSN messenger it boasts is an extremely old version, which, consequently, messed with the settings on my desktop pc.
the works suite on the browser is poor. the word is purely a word pad (no options for fonts etc, and formatting is not possible. excel didn't work well with and formulae more complex than 1+1; and all the suite was slow and clunky, but the net-book does not allow you to install better software.
the SD card slot was not connected to anything, and consequently did not work
documents failed to save at all if the unit was turned off. having saved, i was able to open the document, but as soon as the unit was restarted, the hard drive was blanked.
I returned the product to amazon and received my money back.
overall, you would expect more from a child's toy computer bought from a boot sale for 50p!

I received my Disgo net book just before Christmas. I bought it because it appeared to be an inexpensive way to gain net access that is better than a phone costing hundreds.
Well joy of joy it is. It is not a small laptop but Windows CE gives a god browsing experience, it just doesn;t support flash content. That said there is a core player, a flash player, and a media player in the on-board software.
Setting up a Wi Fi connection is kids play or a cable connection can be used. It is possible to get nearly all sites, and You Tube is specially supported. Despite the size of the screen (7ins) I found most content to be legible. The screen resolution is lovely and sharp. and shut down and start up times are measured in seconds.
Despite the price the build is good, with a nice brushed Case and usable sized keyboard. The Disgo boasts a 2 gb flash memory expandable to a supported 8gb and theoretical 32 gb with an SD card (available here 12.99 for 8gb).
Battery life is rated at four hours, but three would be nearer the mark.
This is a cracking bit of kit the size and weight of paperback, and since I have had it I have barely touched my also new Dell laptop simply because the Disgo is as convenient as opening a paperback.
Most mail is supported but the Disgo dislikes hotmail, refusing to open the messages.
All in all an unbeatable experience for less than a hundred pounds.Disgo Net Browser 3000

Regrettably after returning the product twice because it simply failed to switch on I gave up and bought an Elonex Connect from Amazon after getting my money back.
I would now advise anyone to give anything running Windows CE a miss and buy something with Windows XP or later. It works properly.

As the repair estimate for my computer was about the same cost, I opted for this new item instead. This small web-browser doesn't impress. I'm using it now, for this review, but on this machine negotiating the Amazon site has been very far from easy!
The item is neatly designed, and the small keyboard excellent. But for web-browsing and Emails it is sometimes very slow; often refuses basic commands; the arrow difficult to control; sometimes reacts with a blank screen; etc etc.
I'm not the most expert computer-user and people who can finesse computers may possibly find they have better results? As I see it, for a basic user just looking for quick and efficient web-browsing, this item doesn't exactly deliver the goods.
