I am on amazon looking for a text book for my A-LEvel Religious Studies. At GCSE we were not given very good text books, and so I bought this one. I very highly recommend this book - it is brilliant. It has clear yet succinct coverage of all of the information on the OCR specification (Don't know about the others). I was worrying before my exam because we hadn't been taugt the syllabus very well at school, and revising from this book just by memorising it was brilliant. I got an A* in RS, and I am sure that that is mostly down to this book - Great. 5* - at least!!!

This book was extremely helpful in revising for my GCSE Short Course RS exam. It included all the necessary information you need to learn to achieve the top grade. It is easy to understand and well laid out. There are 40 sections - 4 for each of the 10 units in the course because there are 4 religions covered. I only used 4 sections for my exam but it was worth it! Don't miss out!

This book was quite good for an overview of the GCSE course, but it was too brief. I feel that it focuses on too many religions, thus only giving 4 pages per religion. The questions are quite poor, becausse they don't give decent answers. If you are doing Christian and Islam then get the Discovery: Philosophy and Ethics Christianity and Islam, because this would be too basic.
