This book is not bad, as long as you accept its limitations.
First the good news. It is broken up into 4 main sections: Engine, Suspension, Bodywork and Electrical. Please see the bottom for a full list. It covers most of the main mods that anyone thinking of buying this book will be considering. As well as a few I hadnt thought about. As you would expect with a Haynes manual, it covers each of these with lots of excellent colour photographs, and is brutally honest where necessary (eg - you are likely to break this part getting it off, so have a spare for when it comes time to refit it...).
Now the bad. I would have liked a guide as to how long a competent DIY mechanic would take to complete each job - but then again, a competent mechanic should probably be able to judge it themselves. The bit that irritated me most was the lack of detailed explanation as to why you might want to carry out a particular mod, and what the considerations are. Let me use the 'Suspension Lift' section as an example. The book suggests you 'buy a kit' (lets ignore for now the fact that lots of 'complete kits' on the market include a different number of items). There is no list of what components should be changed or why, making it difficult to buy parts separately. It suggests a different front prop shaft will need to be fitted - but it doesn't say why, or what considerations should be given to this - wide yoke? Double Carden? Any particular length? These are likely to change depending in the height of lift installed - but again, there is no indication of what considerations should be given to a lift height, in terms of ride, handling, which parts *need* changing, and which are advisable.
In summary, if you want to carry out a mod that is in this book (and there are lots to choose from), exactly as they have done it, it is excellent. If you want to do something slightly different, or aren't sure if it would suit your needs, it isn't particularly helpful.
