Its all about me 14 Oct 2009
By Karen S
Format:Paperback
Having attended a short course in the enneagram, the book interested me as it delves deeper into the different personality types and becomes a good reference tool for further development. Well written and generally engaging overall, it can get heavy going and text-book like in places. I tended to dip in and out of mine rather than read cover to cover. I think the authors are two of the experts in the field and the book is a good place to start exploring whether the enneagram can help you understand yourself better.

Personality Types 13 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
Easy to follow and understand. The questionnaire was comprehensive, but quite clear. Some of the questions I found easy to answer, and some I had to think about longer. It is important to follow the instructions. I was surprised by my result, but it confirmed definitely the numbers I wasn't.

I enjoyed reading the book, which our Enneagram teacher had recommended, but it could be enjoyed by a beginner.

This book is precise and succinct with a good questionnaire. I feel that the original background and thinking that gave rise to the enneagram has been stripped out to leave the bones of an academic study. If this is what you want it works well. I found that researching upstream provided richness and depth which I'd felt was missing from this and the other books by Riso
