Butterworth's understanding of the principles of Unity is terrific. When one realizes that we are one with the Divine and that as such we can tap into that unlimited Divine Mind--like we hook onto the Internet with our computers-- (thourgh praise and thanksgiving) is awsome. His explanations of how we can take control of our life (health and happiness) and affairs thourgh affirmations is truly rediscovering what Jesus knew: To control our lives we must surrender our egos and let God take control. "Seek first the kingdom of God and all else you need will be given to you." As Butterworth says in the prologue: According to Hindu legend humans so abused their divinity that the chief god, Brahma, decided to take it away and hide it. Brahma called the lesser gods to a council to decide on the best place to hide man's divinity. But no ideas seemed foolproof until Brahma realized the perfect place was to put it deep within the human, where she/he would never think to look. And ever since, humans has been searching for their divinity everywhere but inside themselves. Then, 2000 thousand years ago Jesus discovred it. And he used it and taught others how to discover and use this tremendous power. I have a poster that states "Good morning. This is God. I will handle all your problems today. I won't need your help. So have a great day." This I have found to be the truth. And Butterworth shows how to let God take over.

This is a wonderful book. I wish someone had interpreted Jesus' words like this when i was a kid instead of only hearing about how we are all sinners and destined for torment in hell if we didnt believe what we were told. How wrong they all got it. This book puts Jesus' words into there proper context. He was pro life and wanted humanity to be aware of their own divinity. What a wonderful spiritual teacher he was. Everyone who is seeking their own spiritual path should read this book by the master of enlightenment. It is not a religious book, trying to force someones opinion on us but it is a way to live life for the greater good of all mankind.

Although it may sound unknown and it may look like a small book on trivial spiritual stuff, it is not.
Although trivial, it puts some spiritual stuff in such a outstanding perspective that will surely revolutionize your life and yur vision of things.
Prayer is not what most people think. It is learning to become more conscious an manifest what we truly desire and seek.
And that simply is what the book is all about.
It explains all through the text, what Jesus teached but from a non-religious point of view.
It is also practical and it would make a good follow-up to "Conversations with God" from Neale Walsh or to Ask and a good companion to "Ask and it will be Given" from Esther Hicks. Read it.
And it has such a cheap price...
