i've been following loose thread for ages now, and to some degree since some of the recent gigs Rat Daddy. Loose thread have a way of seperating you from your beer and getting you jumping, no mean feat in itself. They have influences from bands like the Yo Yo's Wildhearts The Almighty with cool riffs and superb vocals. Listen Enjoy pull out a can and give this CD a pin becuase a couple of years from now you'll wonder how you ever lived with out it.

Rat:Daddy - a great time to be this good !,

I got this album at a Rat:Daddy gig. I hadn't heard their stuff before, but a friend dragged me to the gig as she said I'd fall in love with them. I DID and have now seen them about 10 times. They put on a sexy rockin' show with music that makes you wanna dance about, sing with, laugh with, and they just are so great ! So you understand I'm a big fan and that I really want you to buy this album, because its " soooo gooooood ".With bands like Darkness starting to get us rock people excited again, its going to happen that exciting bands with great shows will be the way of things - and thank God for that. You will really love this album and you will be singing the tunes without knowing it. Come on now - £8.99 could really change your life !

Rat Daddy - sensational rock music,

The Dirty Stars album gives an indication of the talents of Rat:Daddy, perhaps not quite produced to the power of the live performance, but certainly a major step towards a hint of things to come. They also seem to have a diversity in their music, but always with a tune that will stay in your head. Great stuff.Loose Thread, who I haven't seen live, provide the last 7 tracks of this album. I like it. Not such a heavy sound but certainly melodic and punkish. Yeah a good album, and mark my words "Could become a real collectors item".
